Our Founder
Ahad Berkin
Ahad Berkin is a graduate of Civil Engineering from Middle East Technical University and has over 20 years of experience in energy, infrastructure, and technology investments.
In 2019, he founded North Star in the Netherlands, initiating research and development activities focused on environmental security and sensing technologies. During this period, he led the development and commercialization of several innovative products.
The Safe Zone Seismic Sensor, developed under North Star, emerged as a result of Ahad Berkin’s engineering, feasibility, and business development expertise. It is designed for perimeter security and critical area protection.
At North Star, Ahad Berkin continues to work with the vision of developing reliable, field-ready, and user-friendly sensor technologies.
